My father and I are heading off to Anchorage today. The Parks Highway passes right next to Mt. McKinley...Denali to Alaskans, the tallest mountain in North America (20,320 ft.). I took this image of Denali last September on a crystal clear day on my way to Anchorage.
These cars (along with an additional twenty or so) were abandoned in the woods behind our cabin. Many have been there so long that full-grown trees punch through the engine compartment and out the hood.
- I created this blog so that other people could catch a glimpse of the Alaska that I am fortunate enough to see every day. My time in Alaska may be limited, and there is beauty in most everything here. It would be a shame if it were never shared.
