This is an image of Tupak, a friend's cat who is in kidney failure. Tupak is one of the sweetest animals I know even though he has had a rough time of it in life. He has lost most of his hair, and is not long for this world. Lives of the gentile often seem too short.
In honor of the truly mesmerizing North Slope of Alaska I believe that the first photo on this blog must be a CARIBOU. This particular caribou came screamingout of the willows while I was working alongside the Colville River this summer
- I created this blog so that other people could catch a glimpse of the Alaska that I am fortunate enough to see every day. My time in Alaska may be limited, and there is beauty in most everything here. It would be a shame if it were never shared.
