Team Ride Red ~ Race Across America ~ June 18, 2011
A four woman cycling team from Austin, Texas will race over 3,000 miles from Oceanside, CA to Annapolis, MD to bring attention to the number one killer of women - heart disease. Dolores and I are part of the Support Staff for the race and are driving a donated RV from Austin TX to Oceanside, CA this week. We will be driving across America next week in support of the Ride Red Racers. One of the four women cyclists, Carol Pope of Sonora, TX is pictured here as she gives us her bikes to be driven to California.
