Basecamp Week...
I have decided that this week is "Basecamp Week". A recent chat with Doug Hissom stirred up that"camping bug" in me that comes around at about this time every year...so....as therapy I thought I would put up a series of photographs of some of my favorite campsites....just for fun. Somewhere in each series of images is my favorite tent, which I will unfortunately need to replace this year. ... :( :(

Thinking About this Summer...
We just found out that we've been pretty much approved for a month's worth of fieldwork on the North Slope again this summer!! YIPPEEE!!! We love it up there!! Such vastness and freedom after the confining fist of winter has opened.
